Theresa Mayer

 

Theresa Mayer is a Catholic theologian (Mag.Theol.) and Cultural Anthropologist (B.A.). She studied at universities in Tübingen, Paris and Rabat. She is currently working as the coordinator at the Center for Religion, Culture and Society (CRCS) at the University of Tübingen. For study and work purposes, she spent time abroad in Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya, Morocco and Oman. Furthermore, she completed internships in the field of world church and development policy in Munich, Berlin and Dar es Salaam.

She wrote her master's thesis on "AICs in Ghana. Between Hotspot of the Holy Spirit and Postcolonialism". Currently she is doing research on Religious Mobility and Christian Social Forms in Kenya.
